When you let us know if you're an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, or both, we may be able to support your needs better.
When you arrive at one of our hospitals, one of our staff will ask if you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, or both.
If you do, they'll ask if you'd like a liaison officer to attend your consultation with you. If you would, they'll arrange this.
If our staff don't ask you when you arrive, you can request a liaison officer at any time by asking a staff member.
